This one is quite unusual post, because instead of highlighting zines from the last century, I want to let you know about the current Polish fanzine Grindcore For Life started in 2020. I've met it's editor Andrzej Dumała in Obscene Extreme 2024 and he gave me a couple of issues. And they blew my mind. Very interesting and unique style - instead of usual questions Andrzej gives suggestions of a topic or pointers to elaborate on. Tha is Way more interesting that usual question/answer format and taken to the real art form in the later issues. There are a few questions here and there, making "interviews" informative. It is a handwritten, DYI type of work, so the layout never gets boring and you need to put in some effort to read it, but it's worth it. You can check out the second issue released in 2020 here.
Andrzej also runs a Grindcore/Death Metal record label EveryDayHate. He usually gives out the printed fanzine for free or with orders, so you should also check out his blog Edhgrind and ask for the later issues of Grindcore For Life!
