Transcending the Mundane is a fair and open-minded fanzine from Long Island, New York, which covers a wide variety of metal styles, from traditional heavy metal to experimental, black, death metal, and beyond. All interviews are in alphabetical order, and big names get the same level of treatment as the most unheard ones.

Issue #30 contains interviews with Cathedral, Celtic Frost, Clawfinger, Edguy, Fates Warning, Gorefest, Impaled Nazarene, Lacuna Coil, Sieges Even, Voivod, and many more.
