Other Issues:
The final printed issue of Edge of Time was released in 2001 before the magazine moved solely to the web for a few more years and then quietly stopped. Maintaining its traditional focus on progressive metal, the issue features interviews with Devin Townsend, Symphony X, The Gathering, Labyrinth, Nevermore, and Solefald, while also taking a step further to include more avant-garde and experimental bands like Dysrhythmia, Solefald, Maudlin of the Well, Krakatoa, and The Meicht Group. One of the highlights is a special on the Canada/Montreal scene, featuring Heaven’s Cry, Silent Exile, Obliveon, and Kralizec, put together by Christian Rademaker after his visit to Canada.
The issue contains 84 pages in an adventurous and unorthodox black, white, and grey layout, fully packed in small font with interviews and reviews that provide a detailed insight into progressive, power, thrash, experimental, and other metal genres in the early 2000s.
