Issue #15 celebrates the diversity of metal in 2000 and highlights the positives of the emerging Internet age. The interviews include conversations with Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth (following the release of Still Life, when the band was still largely underground) and with Gildenlöw brothers of Pain of Salvation (after their live performance at the very first edition of ProgPower Europe festival in 1999, shortly after releasing their acclaimed sophomore album, One Hour By The Concrete Lake). Norwegian technical metal unicorns Spiral Architect were interviewed after the release of their debut Sceptic’s Universe, which stormed the small but demanding scene and exceeded the high expectations of many fans who had eagerly awaited the album.
